Privacy Policy

The Institute of Advanced Technologies (IAT, "we") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Who We Are

The data controller is the Private Joint-Stock Company "Institute of Advanced Technologies" (PrJSC "Institute of Advanced Technologies"), EDRPOU code 23727615, registered address: 52 Hetmana Pavla Polubotka St., 02094 Kyiv, Ukraine. We produce atlases, maps, and learning materials for schools, institutions, and businesses. Website: iat.kyiv.ua. Contact email: [email protected].

2. What Data We Collect

Contact form

Name, email, subject, and message — provided voluntarily through the Contact Us form or the Custom Maps order form. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Career application form

Name, email, and an attached CV file — submitted via the career application form. The CV is delivered to us by email and retained only as long as needed to review the application.

Web analytics

We use two web-analytics systems. Umami — open-source analytics hosted on our own server; it sets no cookies and collects no personal data (only aggregate metrics: page views, country, browser type). Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) loads only after you grant consent via the cookie banner and uses cookies to measure audience — you can decline it without affecting how the site works.

3. Who We Share Data With

  • Resend (USA) — to send you a confirmation and forward your inquiry to us. Resend receives name and email only for mail delivery.
  • Hetzner Online (Germany) — hosts our analytics server. Data is processed within the EU.
  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosts the staging/preview website. Vercel processes technical request metadata (IP address, User-Agent) within its infrastructure.
  • Mirohost (Ukraine) — production server hosting provider for iat.kyiv.ua. Processes IP addresses and technical request metadata to ensure website stability.
  • Cloudflare (USA/EU) — content delivery network and DDoS protection. Processes visitor IP addresses and technical request metadata for security and performance; traffic is routed through the nearest data center.
  • Google LLC (USA) — Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement. Loaded only after your consent via the cookie banner; it processes cookie identifiers, a truncated IP address, and site-usage data. Data may be transferred to the USA.

4. Retention Periods

Contact and career form data is stored in our [email protected] mailbox and deleted after processing, or within 12 months at the latest. Aggregate Umami analytics data is stored on our server with no fixed expiry.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
