Grade 9 Geography Atlas (NUS): Contents, Maps & Specs

IAT's Grade 9 geography atlas covers the course "Ukraine and the World Economy" — the economic geography of Ukraine and the world. Full-colour maps, cartograms and diagrams show the structure of the economy by sector, the branches of industry, the service sphere and the global challenges facing humanity. It follows the NUS curriculum and is approved for use in the educational process (decision of the IMZO geography expert commission, 17 Dec 2021, minutes No. 10).

How to Use the Atlas
For students: the atlas is useful both in class while studying a topic and at home for practical and independent work. With its maps, cartograms and diagrams, statistics and sectoral structure are easy to analyse.
For teachers: large maps and high-contrast symbols make the atlas easy to work with in class. For practical work it is complemented by the matching outline maps, and the atlas + outline maps set gives a single kit for the whole school year.
Who the Atlas Is For
- Grade 9 students — for class and home work and exam preparation
- Geography teachers — for classroom display and NUS lesson planning
- Tutors — as a structured reference covering every topic of the course
- Schools and libraries — to equip geography classrooms
Print and Online Editions
The printed reissue carries the full content and updated maps. Online, the OsvitaNet platform hosts an earlier (≈2020) edition with a selection of maps — handy for a quick look.
The current edition is the 2025 reissue; the atlas is updated periodically and re-examined each time. Most topics align with the current NUS curriculum in earlier editions too, so those remain usable; if you specifically need the freshest data, go for the latest reissue.
